Dr. Isaiah Song grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area before attending the University of California San Diego, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology.
He then received his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine with honors from the California School of Podiatric Medicine.
He completed his residency training here in Washington at the Swedish Medical Center in Seattle where he served as Chief Resident. During his time at Swedish, he presented multiple posters at national conferences, continued to publish articles in peer-reviewed journals, and lectured at conferences on foot and ankle deformity correction, post-traumatic reconstruction, and novel treatments of ankle arthritis. He received specialty training in micro-surgery, arthroscopic surgery for the foot and ankle, and total ankle replacements.
Dr. Song continues to remain involved in education through the Swedish residency program and stays up to date on how to better treat his patients as new techniques and technologies emerge.
Dr. Song specializes in treating all conditions of the foot and ankle, including acute fractures, sports injuries, foot and ankle deformity, and arthritis. He takes a patient-centered approach to help his patients. He believes that a clear understanding of both the condition and treatment plans available are essential to him and the patient working together as a team to treat the condition effectively.
In his free time, he enjoys staying active- bouldering, hiking, and exploring the Seattle area.
